This is what I do most — a full machine sand back to bare timber, fill any gaps or nail holes, then build up three coats of natural Bona water-based finish. The result is a floor that looks brand new and lasts for years.
I work with every hardwood you'd find in a Hunter home — blackbutt, spotted gum, brushbox, ironbark, tallowwood, cypress. Engineered boards and imported timber too. If it's wood, I sand it.
